A wonderful by-product of my involvement with the Cane Corso and attending rare breed shows is that I have become very skilled at the art of exhibiting a dog. It is a great feeling when I’m able to express the virtues a particular dog to a judge. It’s almost like your speaking to the judge through the dog. In addition to my own dogs I have been fortunate enough to enjoy great success over the years on the rare breed circuit with friends and clients dogs. I’m looking forward to have the opportunity to transcend that success to the AKC forum in July of 2008. 

2007 was a banner year as I was fortunate enough to campaign the 2007 CCAA Dog of the Year; CH. Bel Monte Tal, owned by Ed and Kristy Hodas. Along with Tal, I showed the 2007 CCAA Puppy of the Year; CH. Fortissima’s Onyx, owned by Guy Mongillo. Both Tal and Onyx on their way to earning these well deserved title’s racked up numerous Best in Show and group wins. Both of these fine champions are only one Regional Specialty major win away from earning their CCAA Grand Championship titles. In addition to Tal and Onyx I finished and pointed a number of dog dogs throughout the year including CH. Scandifio’s Grock and CH. Italica Terrae’s Siren.
