We are proud to announce the breeding of our National Specialty Best of Breed winner GR CH Bel Monte Roma bred to one of our import males CH Saxellum Logan. Both dogs are healthy, typical and exemplify the breed standard. Roma is the dam of GR CH Bel Monte Romulus de Godiva, he was the top Cane Corso in the country in 2006. Winning multiple Best in Shows and was concurrently the CCAA Dog of the Year and Puppy of the Year, which is something that has never been done before. Logan’s sire is Derek, and his grand sire is the legendary Italian CH Boris, the first Italian champion ever, and a model for the breed when it was presented to the FCI for recognition. Roma is out of Loki and Sheeka and traces her pedigree back to the great GR CH Bel Monte Nero, as he appears on both sides of her pedigree. This is a repeat breeding. The first litter produced CH Kovu and his beautiful litter mate Luca. Kovu earned 12 Puppy Best In Show wins done during a limited amount of shows. He earned his Rarities and ICCF Championship in one weekend! We expect the litter on the ground early to mid May. We are currently accepting puppy applications for what we expect will be a very special litter.
