Rarities Reading classic,
CCAA Rescue supported entry show;
This was Kovu’s first show as a special (champion) Which for such a young dog (12months) is a precarious situation to be in, while he is a champion he is no where near as mature as the other specials in the class. When you campaign a special he is usually 3 years old or better. That being said, we held our own this weekend splitting Best of Breed honors with half brother Multi GR CH Bel Monte Romulus de Godiva. It was quite a show going head to head with my mentor Ron Williams and Romulus. I think by pushing each other that we brought out the best in each other. Kovu went on to take his second Reserve Best in Show on Saturday afternoon. We look forward to repeating this epic battle at the Nationals in April!
